Heeton is one of the UK's fastest growing hospitality management companies.

Heeton Holdings Limited is a real estate conglomerate focused on property development, investment and management. Established in 1976, the Singapore-based company was listed on the country’s stock exchange in September 2003, and has since extended its business frontiers to Thailand, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam and the United Kingdom.

Heeton’s growth in the property industry is underpinned by a stable real estate portfolio that comprises high quality residential developments, commercial properties and hotels. The hospitality sector is a relatively new area of focus for Heeton but it has become a major business segment for the group; going forward, developing the hotel division will be a key priority for Heeton, with the objective of becoming a prominent player on the international hospitality stage.

    Acquisition of the Mercure Hotel Pattaya, a 247 bedroom property in Pattaya Thailand under the Accor banner: Heeton’s first hotel.

    Ibis Styles Kensington, a refurbishment project in London UK; First hotel acquisition in the UK.

    Ibis Hotel Gloucester, Ibis Budget Bradford – two high performance hotels acquired from Accor; first commercial venture outside London in the UK.

    Holiday Inn Express Manchester – acquisition of the first IHG property in UK’s capital of the north.

    Heeton Concept Hotel Luma Hammersmith London - first design, build and operated hotel in UK; first stand-alone hotel brand created by Heeton.

    Smile Hotel Asakusa - 96-bedroom located in Asakusa, Tokyo, the first Japanese acquisition in the capital.

    Stewart Aparthotel Edinburgh - Located in the New Town sector of the heritage city relaunched as Heeton Concept Hotel Stewart Edinburgh.
  • 2018First IHG Hotel Acquisition In Scotland

    Hotel Indigo Glasgow - first acquisition in Glasgow, Scotland; first IHG property in Scotland.
  • 2019First 5-Star Hotel Acquired

    Crowne Plaza Kensington - first 5-star acquisition and entry into the upscale and luxury market.

An all star team filled with seasoned hospitality professionals, sharing many decades of experience.

Edwin Liu

Managing Director - UK & Europe

Edwin joined the Group in 2012. He oversees property development and investment matters in the UK and Europe. Working closely with the Singapore head office, Edwin assists the executive board in identifying opportunities in the region. He manages the operation of the Heeton UK office in London and spearheads the implementation of development projects. Edwin is a Chartered Architect of the UK with two Bachelor degrees in Architecture who has practiced for over 10 years in the UK and in South East Asia.

Giovanni Andrew

Head Of People & Development

Giovanni Andrew is a seasoned Human Resources and Hospitality professional with a rich career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of People & Development at Heeton Hospitality UK since June 2022, Giovanni has been instrumental in shaping the people strategies and development initiatives in this role.

Prior to his current position, Giovanni held the role of Cluster Human Resources Manager for Jurys Inns & Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland for over five years. His extensive experience in HR management is complemented by his earlier tenure at Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Airport, where he served as the Human Resources Manager from March 2015 to February 2017. During this period, he played a key role in driving HR initiatives and strategies that contributed to the hotel’s success and employee satisfaction.

Jean-Baptiste Royo

Commercial & Revenue Manager

Jean-Baptiste Royo is a dynamic hospitality professional currently excelling as the Commercial Manager at Heeton Hospitality UK since September 2018. With his strategic insight and strong leadership skills, he has been driving business growth and enhancing operational efficiencies in the bustling environment of London.

Prior to joining Heeton Hospitality, Jean-Baptiste served as the Operations Manager at Campanile Northampton from July 2016 to January 2017. In this role, he managed the operations of the Northampton and Milton Keynes properties, totaling 166 rooms and a team of 40. His responsibilities spanned across revenue management, training, and operational management in a multicultural setting. He demonstrated a keen ability to handle various operational aspects, including reception, restaurant and bar management, housekeeping, and maintaining quality and e-reputation.
